About Kreets

Kreets is an independent studio run by Adil Farooq. Rather than chasing every idea at once, Kreets builds a small number of focused digital products and sticks with them — currently Tilebank, an online tile shop, and SEMT, a mobile app for tracking personal expenses, and GTUE, a free invoice generator.

The name is deliberately small in scope. Kreets doesn't aim to be a large company — it's a way to own and operate a handful of small products properly, rather than spreading thin across many half-finished ones. Each product lives on its own subdomain and is built to be maintained independently, so growing or changing one never risks breaking the others.

The approach behind every project here is the same: keep things simple, ship something real before adding complexity, and prefer tools that are boring and reliable over ones that are merely interesting. That philosophy — and the occasional lesson learned the hard way — gets written up on the blog.
